Michael and the Magic Dinosaur is a cute and very funny picture book for ages 3-8. It is about a little boy whose love of his dinosaur makes magical things happen. The story begins when Michael wakes up one night and sees his toy dinosaur start growing right beside him in bed. Within minutes, the small dinosaur grows into a life-size dinosaur. He is so big that he breaks down the walls, and rips right through the house. Before Michael knows it, they are outside. Michael hops on the dinosaur's back and they go for an adventurous romp in the park. They are having fun until the mighty tail of the dinosaur knocks down a statue, breaking it into many pieces. Cop cars surround the park and the adventure comes to an abrupt end. What happens to the boy and his beloved dinosaur? The surprise ending will delight all young readers. The illustrations by Kevin Collier, are vivid and colorful, making the story realistic and engaging. Kids love dinosaurs, especially little boys, and this dinosaur story will provide much enjoyment and excitement for boys and girls.
