Jennifer lives in upstate New York with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and devotes a generous amount of time to the PTA. The idea for a book was first intended as a gift to Scotty, but has quickly inspired her to use it as a tool to teach others understanding and awareness. She hopes that this book will show those faced with day to day challenges that "anything is possible".
Scotty is a confident and independent 7 year old. When he was 2 1/2, he was in an accident that resulted in the loss of his right arm. His confidence and determination was the inspiration for the book. He has never let this get in the way of anything he has wanted to do. He proves it everyday by all the things he has figured out. He says it's not always easy but he just keeps trying.

Written from the perspective of a 7-year-old, Scotty's Way shows all of the amazing things Scotty can do in his own way. Through Scotty's story, children will learn that anything is possible and adults will be reminded that through perseverance anything can be achieved. Scotty's Way is a beautiful and inspirational book for everyone.

Scotty's way is an amazing book, it shows the world, young and old ,that there is always a way to do things, with a positive additude that never gets scotty down, he may have trouble once in a while in trying to do something but then he figures it out , most times by himself, on how to do something ,and he does it with the biggest smile on his face, and shows the pride he has in himself when he does this. doing it scotty's way

Scotty's Way is a beautiful work of non-fiction that will touch your heart every time you open the cover. It just goes to show that a tragedy doesn't have to slow you down. You simply pick up the pieces, accept new challenges, and find "your own way" to accomplish all of your goals and dreams. Thank you Scotty for exemplifying the true spirit of strength and determination.

Amazing book! Sotty's Way is beautifully illustrated to capture Scotty's upbeat spirit and written with the perfect amount of depth to intrigue both the young and old. Jennifer Fura's message is positive and encouraging; a theme that all ages can treasure in their hearts.
