Tim and Margarita Martin Team Up to Help Others Accomplish Their Goals

Tackling obesity is tough, and a majority of dieters gain back more weight than they originally lost.

According to the CDC, approximately 93.3 million adults in the US are affected by obesity today, and the US is the country with the highest number of people who are overweight or obese. Obesity is a problem on a global scale as well, with 2.1 billion of all living people overweight or obese.

To end this unhealthy pattern of yo-yo dieting, Tim and Margarita Martin have designed a method to promote good health that is centered on finding your life’s purpose. “I want people to discover, develop, and deploy their purpose. They must have a goal that has enough substance to sustain the discipline required to reach that goal,” the trainer comments.

“Anyone can get fit, whether their goal is for a wedding, a high school reunion, or the beach,” comments life coach and trainer Tim Martin. “The problem is that 97% of those who lose weight this year will gain back the weight they lost and more within the next three years.”

Getting fit for fitness’s sake is not enough. Rather, Martin encourages individuals to get fit as a means to another end—to have the vitality to fully live out one’s purpose in life.

In his work as a trainer, Martin has seen the success of this strategy with many clients he has coached. “Clients in both life coaching and personal training programs continue to have off-the-chart success.”

To share these successes, together with his wife and business partner Margarita, the Martin’s have co-authored “Purposely Fit”, a book to help readers not only get fit but also to find their purpose and create a meaningful legacy. The book shares the methods that the Martins employ in both life coaching and personal training programs.

Of the book, Martin comments, “It’s not as simple as education. It’s the self-esteem as well as discovering, developing, and deploying your purpose.”

“This is the book the world needs right now,” adds publisher Lisa M. Umina. “It includes so many useful resources as well as a methodology for implementing these changes in a way that is truly impactful to a person’s life.”

The book launch event will take place on November 2nd, 2018 from 4:30 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. at Lake Alfred Public Library, 245 N. Seminole Ave., Lake Alfred, FL 33850. The authors can be reached at 863-291-5378. The author will deliver a 10-minute motivational talk at 5:30 and again at 6:00. Free refreshments will be served. Books will be available for sale and others will be donated to the library.
