AUTHOR: Joli Divon Saraf
Joli Divon Saraf was born in Jerusalem and spent her childhood travelling the world with her family in a diplomatic capacity. She grew up across the Middle East, Asia, and North America, embracing a global perspective from an early age. Continuing her nomadic lifestyle as an adult, she lived and studied in Europe before eventually returning to North America and settling in Boston, Massachusetts. For over fourteen years, Joli served as the assistant director of the Security Studies Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 2022, she embarked on a new adventure, relocating to Mexico with her husband and daughter.
