Marta and her husband, Matt, have two farmers’ markets-Keuka Trail Farm Market and a satellite location where they raise honeybees and sell honey, honeybee products, as well as other novelty goods from the area. As a former teacher, Marta’s love of sharing knowledge, particularly of the importance of honeybees, was the idea for this book. Whenever people stop in at the market, Marta and Matt love to answer questions people have regarding honeybees.
