Renee has been employed with Stanislaus County Health Services Agency for the past 21 years as a social worker for the Healthy Birth Outcomes (HBO). She completed her course work for a Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University. She is very passionate about breast cancer prevention and awareness in the African American community, and she completed a thesis entitled An Exploratory Study on African American Women’s Concerns and Perceived Barriers Related to Breast Cancer. She takes a very special interest in teen moms, works actively in the community, and participates in various task forces and panels. Renee’s long-term goal is to be a Social Worker Instructor.
